David Kämpfer joined INFICON in 2023 as an application engineer, where he specializes in electrolyte leakage testing for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for electric vehicles, especially in large scale production environments.
Holding a master’s degree in physics, Dr. Kämpfer pursued his doctoral studies at the Institute for Quantum Nanoscience, Forschungszentrum Jülich, where he investigated charge transport in semiconductor surfaces at the nanoscale.
