Job Description
Deploy and support INFICON semiconductor products, with a focus on our fault detection and classification (FDC) software called FabGuard. At times it will also be necessary to support our broad range of sensors. The candidate will operate out of their home office.
Qualifications
Major Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support FabGuard software
- Partner with tool owners to determine which tool data, sensor data, and wafer logistics data to trace in FabGuard, and when it is appropriate to trace those variables
- Provide technical assistance for internal and external customers
- Provide written and oral feedback to the customer on applications work including process troubleshooting, FDC development, and advanced analysis techniques
- Provide onsite training on INFICON products including FabGuard FDC software, INFICON hardware usage and basic troubleshooting
- Provide installation support of INFICON software and hardware as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related sciences, with at least 3 years on semiconductor experience
- Broad understanding of semiconductor processes and OEM tools including lithography, PVD, CVD, Etch, and CMP is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Prior exposure to Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), computer networking, and factory automation is required.
- Requires strong analytical skills and critical thinking to solve complex problems
- Requires strong organizational and computer skills
Additional Information
For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $150,000 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
