INFICON is looking for someone to lead it's global industrial engineering focused Semi Smart Manufacturing Marketing efforts. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting and accelerating INFICON's growth in this market. This role will require a strong existing reputation and the ability to represent INFICON's vision to the industry at various industry functions/events as well as the specific requirements listed below.
Product Management:
Define product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization in alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to ensure product specifications align with market requirements.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to inform roadmap and product development.
Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Lead the development and refinement of product messaging and positioning based on in-depth knowledge of smart manufacturing methodologies, semiconductor processes, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.
Technical Marketing:
Develop and communicate compelling product value propositions and technical differentiators.
Create technical content, including white papers, case studies, presentations, and webinars, to support sales and marketing efforts.
Partner with the sales team to deliver training and support that empowers them to effectively sell the product.
Provide pre-sales technical support, including the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and product demonstrations that address customer needs and showcase our solutions.
Lead the development of product demos and technical materials for tradeshows, conferences, and customer engagements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Serve as the voice of the customer across teams, ensuring their needs are represented in product development and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with corporate marketing to execute campaigns that position INFICON products effectively in the marketplace.
Work with support teams to address customer inquiries and integrate feedback into product roadmap.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in technical marketing or related field, with a proven track record in leading marketing teams
Deep understanding of technology trends and market dynamics in the B2B tech industry
Advanced technical knowledge in Semi Industrial Engineering and Smart Manufacturing
Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans
Strong skills in product positioning, messaging, and digital marketing strategies
Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and deriving actionable insights
Excellent project management abilities with a track record of delivering results
Outstanding communication and public presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions
Additional Information
For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $150k and $175k. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
