Packaging engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Development and optimization of sustainable packaging solutions
  • Analysis of innovative packaging technologies, e.g. through participation in relevant trade fairs
  • Creation and evaluation of packaging concepts with palletizing software
  • CAD development and sample structures
  • Maintenance of technical documentations
  • Collaboration in product development projects and design reviews
  • Development of pendulum and transport containers
  • Planning and carrying out transport suitability tests and evaluating the results
  • Supporting compliance with international packaging regulations and maintaining quantity reports
  • Cross-location collaboration for the definition of common parts

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in packaging technology, sustainable packaging or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Sound knowledge of SAP and good command of English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5% of working time)
  • Experience with CAD software and palletizing software is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and creative mindset
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • High level of commitment and independence
  • Understanding of sustainable practices and international packaging regulations
