Job Description

Job Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Lead, where you'll help accelerate profitable growth by spearheading quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will ensure that we meet our key customers’ high expectations, especially in Semiconductor and adjacent markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, from initial design through manufacturing and final product release.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall process improvements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, Conflict Minerals Extended, PFAS, Prop65, China RoHS, EU POP, US TSCA). 
  • Quality System Management: Own the QMS and lead efforts to maintain and improve our ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 implementation.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive preventive measures.
  • Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with team members across functional responsibilities and across physical locations, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. 
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data analysis to drive decision-making and improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Interaction: Interface with customers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction (efficacy & responsiveness).  Lead efforts related to customer quality audits.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.  Working understanding of Vacuum principles and ALD-based Coating processes preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in quality assurance. Experience working in the semiconductor industry or with manufacturing businesses who serve Semiconductor OEM customers is preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proven experience with successful execution of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality tools and techniques (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis).  Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.

Additional Information

Salary: $100,000-$115,000 per year (The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.) plus annual bonus.

Job Type: Full-time (40-50 hours/week) – On-site (not a remote position) with requirement to travel 5% of time for supplier quality audits
