Job Description

You are part of a decentralized and international team of SAP specialists that implements customized solutions worldwide and plays a key role in the success of the company. In your role as MM/(E)WM you will analyze, support and optimize existing processes and implement new requirements. In addition, in the age of digitalization, you will act as a contact person for automation possibilities in your own area of responsibility and hold the threads of existing and new interfaces and connections together on the SAP side.

Qualifications

As SAP MM/(E)WM Inhouse you will work in an international and agile work environment with a wide range of tasks and many opportunities for further development. You will actively participate in the further development of the group of companies.

In this role you will work on the following tasks and duties:
• Serve as a liaison between the business and IT for understanding, defining and developing business processes and practices within SAP related to the Operations business area
• Define business requirements and produce functional design specifications, configuration, and test cases related to (external and intercompany) procurement, inventory management, stock transfer, subcontracting and return to vendor
• Support existing processes in the area MM/WM
• Support the expansion of business partner connections (EDI)
• Proactively identify process improvements, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for implementation and testing activities
• Present technical subjects/issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Preparation and execution of workshops and presentations
• Actively participate and contribute to the preparation and future implementation of S4HANA
• Project management for local and international SAP projects with focus on SAP MM/(E)WM
• Close cooperation with Business Process Experts SAP and the international

The Ideal Candidate
• University degree or equivalent education
• Extensive professional experience as functional consultant lead in the area of Materials Management and Warehouse Management (required)
• Good understanding of SAP Standard Processes: Purchase to Pay process, Subcontracting, External procurement of Services, Drop Shipment, Stock Transfer, Return to Vendor, EDI
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP MM/WM configuration experience
• Experience in design and modelling of business processes
• S/4HANA implementation experience is a plus
• Experienced in playing a major role in SAP projects is a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in writing functional requirements
• The ability to work independently as well as in project teams
• Business- and solution-oriented, global mindset with good planning and analytical skills
• Willingness to travel

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $140,000 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
