Job Description

Job Overview:

InstruTech is a Longmont, CO based company specializing in designing and manufacturing vacuum measurement and control instrumentation. We are part of the INFICON group, a Switzerland based worldwide leader in products for gas analysis, measurement, and control. We are hiring an experienced SMT Operator to help us keep growing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must have experience running and programming SMT Machines-MyData preferred.
  • Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies.
  • Interpret Assembly & Fabrication Prints for Surface Mount Department
  • SMT Process Tech-Oversee all processes and responsible for analyzing data and reducing scrap levels.
  • AOI experience would be a plus.
  • Providing Engineering support for the SMT Prototype and Production Lines.
  • Creating Common Setups for the SMT jobs to reduce number of setups and teardowns.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: 2-5 years of experience as an SMT Operator.
  • Experience: Good SMT Operator with 2-3 years of experience in production environment.
    • Pick & place machines preferred (MyData experience a plus).
    • Programming SMT machines a plus.
    • Working knowledge of assembling electronic products with good dexterity and able to follow work instructions
    • Ability to lift 30-40ILBS.

Additional Information

Salary: $20-$24 Per hour depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
