Technical writer (m/f/d)

These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.
Job Description
- Creation, editing and modification of operating, service and assembly instructions for our products while taking general guidelines and standards into account
- Collaboration in development projects
- Obtaining the information required to create the documentation
- Commissioning language translations
- Structuring documents in the editing system and checking texts and illustrations for accuracy
- Maintaining a translation and terminology database
Qualifications
- Completed technical training with a qualification/further training as a technical writer
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in mechanical engineering, device construction or similar areas
- Careful and accurate way of working
- Knowledge of an XML editing system
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Good knowledge of German and English
