INFICON Awarded GSA Supply Contract

GSA Acquisition Services Facilitate U.S. Government Procurement of INFICON HAPSITE Chemical Identification Systems (GC/MS) for On-Site Risk Analysis and Emergency Response

Syracuse NY/Zurich, Switzerland - November 29, 2006 - INFICON (SWX Swiss Exchange: IFCN) INFICON, a global leader in advanced instrumentation designed for fast, on-site detection of chemical warfare agents and other industrial applications, today announced that it has signed a contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) to supply its full array of field-portable, HAPSITE chemical identification systems, services and support to the U.S. Government. The contract continues a long-term business relationship between INFICON and the U.S. military and other government agencies.

The complete line of INFICON HAPSITE gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) systems for immediate and on-site identification and analysis of chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals in air, soil or water, including specialized accessories, training, maintenance, and application support, will be available to the federal government and other entities entitled to purchase products and services off the GSA Schedule, Contract No. GS-07F-0067T.
