INFICON, in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden, opened its doors for the annual Photonics Day. This event attracted students and enthusiasts eager to explore the world of photonics. In addition to the visit to INFICON, the students visited two more tech companies in the Rhine Valley.
The visit began with an introduction about INFICON, giving participants an overview of the company's rich history, mission and vision. After that, the attendees were treated to two captivating presentations on specific photonics topics. From groundbreaking research findings to current industry trends, these presentations provided valuable insights for experts and novices alike, highlighting the diverse applications and opportunities in the field. A highlight was the exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the INFICON production facility. Attendees had the opportunity to witness firsthand the manufacturing process of high-precision gauges, gaining valuable insights into the latest manufacturing technologies employed by the company.
The event concluded with participants gathering for a casual networking session. This provided a relaxed atmosphere for attendees to mingle and exchange ideas.
