Forming Gas Charging Kit

Forming gas (95% N₂/5% H₂) is an increasingly popular and environmentally safe method for leak checking auto AC systems. The Forming Gas Charging Kit allows you to easily charge an empty AC system with forming gas to 120 psi*. Once charged, leak check the system using a forming gas leak detector, such as INFICON AST100FG. Once the system is confirmed to be leak-free, the gas can be vented to the atmosphere and the system can be charged with the appropriate refrigerant.

*Refer to SAE guidelines or the vehicle service manual for exact charging pressure. Only available in North America.
