Service Technician
INFICON Aaland is seeking a Service Technician to join our Production Support Team. Note the work location is Mariehamn (Åland, Finland) and fluent Swedish is required.
Are you INFICON´s new Service Technician for our Production Support Team in Mariehamn? We are looking for someone who want to have a challenging job with exciting technology. Our products undergo many complex and proprietary process steps in vacuum and high temperatures. We are looking for you who can work independently and take your own initiative as part of our production support.
Your Role
As a Service Technician you will be part of a team who does maintenance on our production machines and continuously implements new equipment. As a part of our Production Support Team you will receive internal training so you can service large parts of our high-tech production.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The work includes maintenance of machinery and property, participating in projects to buy in and put new equipment into operation. Your main tasks will be to troubleshoot and practically repair mechanical and electrical / electronic equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting and hands-on repair of mechanical and/or electrical/electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of electricity & automation
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Structured way of working, accurate and comfortable with documenting
- Willingness to learn new things
- Knowledge of spoken and written English
