INFICON Receives Order From Samsung for Its FabGuard Sensor Integration and Analysis System
Samsung Installs FabGuard At Its 300mm Mass Production Simulation Fab
SYRACUSE, N.Y. & ZURICH, Switzerland, Aug 23, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- INFICON Holding AG (Swiss Exchange SWX and NASDAQ: IFCN), announced today that the Semiconductor Division of Samsung Electronics, has purchased the INFICON FabGuard Sensor Integration and Analysis System for its Mass Production Simulation Fab in Kiheung, Korea for 300mm semiconductor manufacturing. The order includes FabGuard, a fully automated, real-time early fault detection and analysis system for improving semiconductor equipment and process productivity, and various other INFICON in situ diagnostic sensors.
