Integration and data exchange with a higher-level control system via interfaces
Description
The webinar provides an overview of the possibilities of integrating an INFICON leak detector to a higher-level control system for automating leak testing. Typical interfaces such as the R232 interface, digital inputs and outputs as well as the various bus interfaces PROFIBUS, PROFINET-IO, EtherNet/IP and DeviceNet will be discussed.
As an example, the possibility of integration into a higher-level control system is discussed in detail using a PROFINET-IO bus system, and the data structure of the cyclic and acyclic data is explained.
With the integration of the leak detector via a field bus system, almost all parameters and operating states of the device can be recorded and changed. Thus, the leak detectors from INFICON are Industrie 4.0 ready
