Hot Ion Combination Gauge Measures 13 Decades With One Vacuum Connection and Automatic Self-calibrating Replacement Sensor

Maintains reproducibility, lower cost of ownership

East Syracuse, NY - 22 September 2005 - The INFICON BPG402 Hot Ion Combination Vacuum Gauge provides vacuum measurement over 13 decades from 10 -10 mbar to atmosphere, maintaining high accuracy and reproducibility when a sensor is replaced. INFICON Hot Ion Vacuum Gauges for the entire vacuum range have the unique capability of automatically reading embedded data to fully calibrate the new sensor for consistently reliable measurements. With INFICON on-board calibration in the gauge electronics, only the sensor is replaced when necessary, further lowering cost of ownership and increasing efficiency.
