INFICON Announces Date of Second Quarter 2004 Results

Syracuse, New York & Zurich, Switzerland - June 29, 2004 - INFICON (SWX Swiss Exchange and NASDAQ: IFCN), a leading manufacturer of vacuum instrumentation and process control software for the semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries and other industrial applications, will issue a press release announcing its second-quarter results at approximately 7:00 a.m. CET/1:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 21, 2004.
