INFICON Announces Date of Third Quarter 2006 Results

Syracuse, New York/Zurich, Switzerland - September 22, 2006 - INFICON (SWX Swiss Exchange: IFCN), a leading manufacturer of instrumentation and process control software for the semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries and other industrial applications, will issue a press release announcing its third quarter 2006 results at approximately 7:00 a.m. CET/1:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
