INFICON Introduces New PCG Vacuum Gauge at SEMICON West 2002, San Francisco - First vacuum gauge to combine CDG and Pirani technologies in one for greater accuracy
Syracuse, New York/Zurich, Switzerland - July 22, 2002 - INFICON Holding AG (SWX Swiss Exchange and NASDAQ: IFCN), a leading manufacturer of vacuum instrumentation and critical sensor technologies for the semiconductor and related industries and other industrial applications, will introduce the PCG400 Pirani Capacitance Diaphragm Gauge at the SEMICON West 2002 tradeshow in San Francisco, July 22-24. The PCG400 is the first vacuum gauge to combine ceramic capacitance diaphragm and Pirani technologies in one cost-saving vacuum gauge.

Coupled with the gas-independent capacitance diaphragm gauge, the new PCG400 uses patented sensors and ceramics to provide more accurate and repeatable pressure measurement than available with a convection-enhanced Pirani gauge. Available with up to 2 integrated relays, PCG400 eliminates the need for additional, costly gauges to control system pressure. The compact, space saving PCG400 can be mounted in any orientation, eliminating system design constraints.
